The club used a white home shirt and a yellow away shirt. The shirt was made by Nike and sponsored by Strongbow.

Within this season the club used the same home and away shirt from the 2002/03 season but the sponsor changed to Whyte and Mackay. The blue third shirt was a new addition, a shirt in which Leeds never won in! All shirts were still made by Nike but were now sponsored by Whyte and Mackay.

A disaster 2006/07 season saw Leeds relegated from the Championship to League One, the lowest the club's status has ever been. A new white home shirt and a new yellow away shirt were used. The shirts were made by Admiral and sponsored by Bet 24. The club also introduced a secondary sponsor (Empire Direct) midway through the season which appeared on the back of the shirt.

Leeds started the 2007/08 season in League One with 15 points deducted before the season even started and against all odds reached the League One Play-Off Final, in which they lost 1-0 to Doncaster Rovers. The club's new era started with a new white home shirt and a new yellow away shirt. The shirts were made by Admiral and sponsored by RedKite and also had the secondary sponsor of OHS on the back of the shirt.
The 2008/09 season will be remembered for another failed Play-Off campaign, Millwall this time being the conquerors. The club introduced a new white home shirt, yellow away shirt and a dark/sky blue striped third shirt. The new shirts were made by Macron and sponsored by Netflights.com with the secondary sponsor of OHS on the back of the shirt remaining.
The 2009/10 season will go down as one of the greatest in the clubs history. Particular highlights included beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup before finally clinching promotion to the Championship on the final day of the season. During these heroics the club used a new white home shirt; a new yellow away shirt but the blue striped third shirt from the 2008/09 season remained (but was never used in a match). The shirt manufacturers of Macron and shirt sponsors of Netflights.com and OHS remained.
