*** THIERRY HENRY MATCH WORN ARSENAL 2002/03 AWAY SHIRT ***
*** UNWASHED! VS LEEDS 28/9/2002 ***
Below is a match worn and unwashed shirt from one of the greatest players ever to play the game - THIERRY HENRY! The shirt was worn at Elland Road on the 28th September 2002 in the 4-1 thrashing of Leeds. Prior to the game Arsene Wenger made the laughable statement that Arsenal had the quality to go unbeaten all season. To no ones surprise the Gunners didn’t manage it, however they did shock the world of football the following season when they did manage it! The shirt was obtained directly from Thierry by a source at Elland Road that was lucky enough to be safeguarding the away dressing room. The source obtained this for his friend (Claire) to who Thierry has signed it to. The shirt has all the differences that seperate it from the replicas but also shows clear signs of wear as the inner-lining has been removed. A fantastic shirt that is one of its kind!
SHIRT NOW SWAPPED!
*** DIEGO MARADONNA MATCH WORN SOCCER AID SHIRT ***
The shirt was worn by football legend Diego Maradonna during the warm-up of the Soccer Aid match on the 27/5/2005 at Old Trafford. The exhibition game was played between England and the Rest of the World to raise funds for Unicef. The campaign was supported by major stars such as Robbie Williams, Peter Schumeichal, Paul Gascoigne and DIEGO MARADONNA! The game ended in a 2-1 victory to England with Maradonna scoring a consolation for the Rest of the World team. The shirt is very rare and was never released as a replica shirt. The shirt is also unwashed and has been personalised for Diego. One of a kind!!!
