*** ALAN SMITH MATCH WORN SIGNED LAST HOME SHIRT *** The shirt was worn and signed by Alan Smith during the last home game against Charlton at Elland Road. After losing against Bolton in the previous game then Leeds was already relegated going into this game, resulting in an entertaining 3-3 draw. The game was Alan Smith's last game at Elland Road where he scored his last goal for the club. To mark the occasion then Smith was giving the captains armband and after the final whistle there was a standing ovation and pitch invasion. The shirt was obtained from Ricky Allman, the young lad that was filmed crying after the Bolton game. Ricky was heavily publicised after the game by many newspapers and Sky Sports and therefore the club arranged for him to meet Alan Smith. Ricky was made guest of honour at the Charlton game so that he could deliver a speech on the pitch prior to the game. After the game Ricky was lucky enough to obtain Alan's shirt from the game (one newspaper article specifically states this). All the original newspaper articles and letter from Ricky are still with the shirt. As this shirt is from such a significant match and comes with excellent provenance then this makes the shirt a fantastic addition to any collection. The shirt is signed, has all the differences to seperate it from a replica and still has visible mud marks on it from the game.
*** GARY KELLY MATCH WORN SIGNED HOME SHIRT *** The shirt was worn by Gary Kelly during the away game against Charlton at the Valley. The game ended in a rare 1-0 victory but sadly didn’t prevent Leeds being relegated from the top tier of English football. The shirt is unwashed with minor grass/mud stains still visible. The shirt has been framed and also signed by Gary on the front. This is a fantastic shirt that was obtained directly from a contact at the Valley. The shirt also has many differences that seperate it from a replica such as the official Premiership name/numbers/badges.
*** MARK VIDUKA MATCH WORN AWAY SHIRT *** The shirt was worn by Australian international Mark Viduka during a known away game from the relegation season. The shirt was obtained from a Memorabilia shop and was provided with a COA. The shirt has all the differences that seperate it from a replica and differs substantially. *** HARPAL SINGH MATCH ISSUE 2003/04 AWAY SHIRT***
This shirt was issued to Leeds youngster Harpal Singh during a Premiership match in the relegation season. The shirt has all the differences that make this significantly different to the replicas. SHIRT NOW SWAPPED!
*** LUCAS RADEBE MATCH WORN THIRD SHIRT *** The shirt was worn by Leeds legend Lucas Radebe during an away fixture. The shirt is very rare and is the ‘infamous’ shirt that Leeds never won in. Radebe was (and still is!) a popular figure at Elland Road and was given a testimonial in the following season. The shirt has the slight differences that seperate it from a replica including the correct lettering/numbering/badges.
