*** DANNY MILLS MATCH WORN HOME SHIRT ***

 

The shirt was worn by Danny Mills against West Ham on 1/1/2002 at Elland Road. Leeds won the game 3-0 which took them to the top of the Premiership for a brief period. The shirt has been signed by the entire squad on the front. The shirt is also a brilliant example of a match worn shirt as mud/sweat stains are clearly visible. Some of the ''Strongbow'' logo has also come off during match use, which can be seen in the photo of Danny wearing the shirt. *** IAN HARTE MATCH WORN UEFA CUP SPONSORLESS SHIRT ***

 

This shirt was worn by left back Ian Harte during the UEFA Cup fixture against Troyes on 1/11/01. Leeds United lost 3-2 on the night but progressed to the third round thanks to the 4-2 victory in the first leg at Elland Road. The shirt is very rare as it doesn't have the 'Strongbow' logo on the shirt, this had to be removed due to alcohol advertisement being banned in France. This was the only game that Leeds wore the sponsorless shirt in and therefore makes these shirts very rare and collectable. *** ALAN SMITH MATCH ISSUE HOME SHIRT ***

 

This shirt was issued to Alan Smith for the UEFA cup match against Troyes. The shirt is made ultra rare due to it not having the 'Strongbow' sponsorship on the front as advertising alcohol is illegal in France. The shirt is signed on the front and has all the usual differences that separate it from a replica.

*** ROBBIE FOWLER MATCH WORN SIGNED AWAY SHIRT ***

 

The shirt was worn by striker Robbie Fowler during away games throughout the 01/03 seasons. Robbie had an impressive goal scoring ratio whilst at Elland Road but was hindered by injury. This style of shirt was worn in famous wins against Arsenal and Bolton, in which Robbie grabbed a hatrick! The shirt naturally has the major differences that separate it from being a replica. The shirt is also nicely signed on the back of the shirt.

The shirt was worn by Alan Smith during away games throughout the 01/03 seasons. A fantastic and rare shirt that was worn in many highlights including the 3-2 win over Arsenal at Highbury that ensured Premiership safety in the 02/03 season. The shirt was worn by Leeds favourite Alan Smith during the 2000/02 seasons. Alan was a very popular figure amongst Leeds fans particularly for his commitment during games. As Alan rarely wore long sleeves then this shirt is very rare. *** LEEDS UTD MATCH SPARE ''NO-SPONSOR'' THIRD SHIRT ***

 

Here is a very rare Leeds Utd shirt that was produced for Leeds Utd when playing in France during the UEFA Cup competition. As alcohol sponsorship is illegal in France then Leeds Utd produced both the home and away shirt without the ''Strongbow'' sponsor. However Leeds only played in France once (against Troyes) and used the white home shirt in this match meaning the yellow away shirts are only spares. This is certainly a very rare shirt to come across.
